Affiliate Agreements

This site provides information about products, services, or assets transferred between Verizon regulated telephone companies and their designated affiliates that upon approval to provide long distance services originating in-region, will be considered separated long distance affiliates under section 272 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996. Link to responsibilities and posting procedures for agreements between Verizon local exchange companies and Verizon Global Networks Inc.

Please Note the following:

For services posted below in which the pricing is calculated at the higher or lower of Fully Distributed Cost vs. Estimated Fair Market Value, the following statement applies: Part 32.37 does not require the higher of/lower of pricing, however, Verizon follows this practice.
As of May 2, 2005, Verizon Hawaii Inc.is no longer a Verizon Communications affiliate. Verizon Hawaii Inc. was sold to The Carlyle Group. Until May 2, 2005, Verizon Hawaii Inc. was a party to certain contracts between Verizon local exchange companies and Verizon Section 272 affiliates. As of May 2, 2005, Verizon Hawaii Inc. is no longer a party to those contracts.
As of March 31, 2008, Verizon New England Inc. encompassing the states of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont were sold to FairPoint Communications, Inc. Until March 31, 2008, Verizon New England Inc. was a party to certain contracts with the Verizon long distance affiliates (previously known as Section 272 affiliates) in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. As of March 31, 2008, Verizon New England Inc. as a local exchange carrier in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont is no longer a party to those contracts. Verizon New England Inc. remains a party to those contracts for Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
